Threads of Fate
The poets will tell you Zeus was eternal. They were not there.
When Persephone’s fate is decided in the dark it is not grief alone that moves the Goddesses, it is recognition. They have all lost something to the king of Olympus. They have all learned to call that loss the natural order.
Now the Primordial ones are watching, waiting for the right moment. And Athena — brilliant, faithless, beloved Athena — has been feeding Zeus just enough truth to keep herself close to the one thing she cannot abandon: her mother, imprisoned inside the God’s own mind since before Athena drew her first breath.
Threads of Fate is the story of what women do when submission is no longer survivable and rebellion alone is not enough. It is the story of how Olympus fell from the inside when a favor of marriage becomes the catalyst for revolution.
